The inner critic. We all have one. That voice from within that warns us, holds us back, tells us we are not good enough. The inner critic can also be the voice of fear, judgement or anxiety. The voice is usually negative, doom and gloom.

The problem with the inner critic is not so much as what it says. It’s the way many people accept the inner critic as 100% fact and therefore allows it to dominate their lives. So many people live for years with their inner critic in control. 

When you begin to understand that one of the roles of the inner critic is to protect you from harm, embarrassment or things going wrong you can start to build a new relationship with the inner critic.
