Porn addiction can lead to problems in relationships, personal life and work life. The more you watch porn the more you are de-sensitised to sex. 

Here are a few tips on how to quit porn addition

  1. Ask yourself “Am I committed to stop using porn?”
  2. Speak to your partner/wife/friend/therapist about the porn addiction.
  3. Understand why you use porn – is it numb your emotions e.g. stress, anxiety, fear, or relationship issues.
  4. Disconnect from the internet for a while or if you need to use it there is software available to block porn sites.
  5. Remove all DVDs and magazines relating to porn from your house.
  6. Break out of your routine – do different things in your life, get pleasure and enjoyment from real connections and experiences.
  7. Exercise, meditate or breathing exercises to help you to relax.
  8. Put energy into your relationships.
