Beauty is being in harmony with what you are.
Peter Nivio Zarlegna
There is so much going on in our world today, society and local communities. It's so easy to get caught up in the dramas and chaos of life around us. It's so easy to get caught up with other people's rhythm in life we forget to dance our own rhythm. How our partners, friends and family feel which of course will have a direct impact on how we feel emotionally and physically,
When we live our life in drama and chaos our bodies live in the stress response, using up energy feeling stressed and anxious and feeling tired.
What is harmony
Harmony is a place of balance between mind, body and spirit. For some people it can feel spiritual and for others it's a place of connection.
Here are some steps to help you find harmony in your life
Breathing gives life to our thoughts, if your breath is quick and fast paced - your thoughts will be too.
Be aware of your breathe, watch it and listen to it. When you are stressed or feeling anxious slow your breathing down,
Take time out
Remember to take time out just for you! Whether it is breathing, reading, meditating, going for a walk, having a massage, going for a drive, having a bath, or even a glass of wine every so often. Close the door to the world, to your commitments and responsibilities for 30 minutes, an hour or even longer if you can manage it and focus on you!
Use this time as down time to recharge your batteries and reconnect with the most important person in your life - YOU!
Have you ever tried to Just Be? To just sit in quietness or stillness. We are surrounded by gadgets, noise, mobile phones, facebook, who would you be without any of them, without their noise?
Just sit in the silence, embrace it, hold it and engage with it with stillness. Listen to what your heart is trying to communicate to you.
I hope some of the above tips will help guide you to a harmonious life. By connecting with your own harmony you can also connect with your own rhythm of life to allow your soul and spirit to dance to the music of life.
