Many talk about being more present. I witness mindfulness teachers who are the least mindful people I know!
They don't walk their talk. Many do not know or understand the depths and power of presence.
To be truly present with yourself and others is to fully be connected to your heart, mind and body. To awaken all your senses - sight, touch, taste, smell, and sound. Only then you are truly present.
I too thought I knew about presence. That was until I started studying John O'Donohue. He has opened up a whole new meaning and experience to this beautiful and powerful word.
I bring this new awareness to my work with clients. The change they experience from within in powerful and profound. I show they how to reconnect with the presence within them. How to slow down and connect with the mind, body and heart. How to connect with each sense and bring that into their awareness.
Often my clients tell me that they feel whole again. That is what presence is. A wholeness that you and other people experience. Each part of you is alive and present.
I invite you to be aware the next time you are talking to someone. Notice where your thoughts are. Notice your awareness of your body. Feel your feet on the ground. Bring your awareness to your heart. Ignite all your senses.
Now, notice the difference in the conversation. Notice the difference in you. Be present with all of you. Awaken your senses and enjoy your presence
